I would like to invite my followers and readers to attend H-1B Visas for Nurses: Old Challenges and New Opportunities seminar on December 10, 2014 to discuss the newest US Citizenship & Immigration Services (“USCIS”) guidance on H-1B visas for nurses. We will review the new requirements outlined in the July 2014 USCIS memo and the new opportunities healthcare providers can now take advantage of, as well as the usual hurdles and pitfalls of sponsoring foreign-national nurses for H-1B visas.
The H-1B visa season will soon be upon us. As it was the case last April, we expect the number of new visa petitions, which will be filed on April 1, 2015 to exceed the meager 65,000-visa quota allocated for FY2015. Those employers who fail to file their H-1B petitions on time or having filed timely and get a denial from USCIS will most likely have to wait until April 1, 2016 for another chance.
Please join us on December 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm for an in-depth discussion of this topic. If you cannot attend this event in person, you will be able to register for a webinar and follow the discussion over the Internet. To register please fill out our short Registration Form.
